Spreading Joy: Leadr’s Third-Annual Season of Giving

Leadr is excited to celebrate this Holiday Season by giving back to the community through their second-annual Season of Giving. Each month from October through December, the Leadr team will come together to support a local cause in the Plano area.

Our Leadr team kicked off the Season of Giving by rallying together for Socktober, donating an incredible 7,302 pairs of socks to support Metro Relief Dallas.

Metro Relief is doing amazing work for our community, offering mobile support to people experiencing homelessness with essentials like food, clean water, hygiene kits—and yes, socks! 

CEO and Co-Founder, Matt Tresidder shared, “At Leadr, we believe that every Leadr has blue-collar DNA, and is willing to get their hands dirty to support the team's greater mission. But it's not just about excelling in the workspace; it's also about coming together to give back to the community that has been our foundation. Our Season of Giving is designed to be inclusive, allowing both our on-site and remote team members to actively participate and make a meaningful impact."

In November, Leadr team members from across the country served in their local communities with projects like: 

• Volunteering at Metrocrest Resale, sorting through donated clothes, stocking shelves, and greeting customers. Every dollar spent here provides six meals for a neighbor in need.
• Serving through a community trash clean up at a local nature preserve.
• Packaging 15K meals for school kids all over the world. 
• Volunteering on behalf of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign.
  

In December, the team is focusing on giving back to each other through an internal Secret Santa program, made simple thanks to the Leadr profile card, which gives a glimpse into each team member's favorites.
