Why do your goals fail? Because your team doesn’t understand how each of their objectives connects to your organization’s mission. We're changing that.
At Leadr, we’re committed to helping you achieve better alignment, clarity, and performance. To better support this mission, we’re making an exciting change to our platform: the "Goals" module will now be called "Objectives."
Why the Change?
We’re shifting focus from personal, isolated goals to a more unified, team and organization-centric approach. Here’s why:
- Stronger Alignment: Objectives connect your work to your mission and purpose - up, down, and across the org chart.
- Organizational Health: Objectives reinforce clarity at every level, the foundation of organizational health.
- Higher Success Rates: Goals often fail when they aren’t tied to a higher purpose. By rethinking them as Objectives, we’re creating a pathway to success.
This update also better aligns with modules of our platform focused on Patrick Lencioni’s The Advantage framework, emphasizing the importance of Defining Objectives and Standard Operating Objectives in creating a cohesive and healthy organization.
What Does This Mean for You?
- All your existing goals will automatically transition to Objectives—no action required.
- The functionality you know and love remains the same, but with a renewed focus on alignment and impact.
- Introducing the OKR framework. Additional “objective type" category, including a drop-down option to specify if this is an objective or a key result.
- For The Leadr Advantage users: You now have the option to keep or toggle off the display of Defining Objectives and Standard Operating Objectives in Team Meetings.
- New features designed to enhance organizational health and alignment are on the horizon. Stay tuned!
