Leadr’s Integration for Slack Now Includes Recognition

Employee recognition is crucial to the employee experience.

To make it easier for you to give a well-deserved shout-out to your team members, you can now have the Recognition you post in Leadr show up in a Slack channel. 

You can get started in 2 easy steps:

1. To get the updated Integration for Slack, a workspace admin will need to reinstall it using the install link shown on the Integration for Slack landing page in order for the app to have the new permissions that were added in this update. 

Don’t worry - reinstalling the app will not cause any disruptions to your current usage, and users will not need to re-authenticate their Slack accounts. 

1. Once installed, the workspace admin can set up the channel they want recognition notifications to go to via the Team Notification Preference button inside the app settings page by clicking the Settings button in the app Home tab in Slack.

There you have it. A more timely and more visible way to pat your team on the back. 

We’ve also fixed a handful of other small bugs in the app around meetings and notifications, so you can lead on the go without a glitch.
